Diet & hydration tracking

Log a meal the way you
actually think of it. Search it, scan it, or say it.

EzTrofi keeps your food and water in one daily log, backed by real USDA nutrition data instead of a guess. Search a food, photograph a Nutrition Facts label, or just speak what you ate — it lands in the same place.

The web version at eztrofi.com/app covers core logging today; the full app — voice entry, label scanning, offline use — is coming soon on Google Play.

One sheet, four entry points

However the food showed up, it goes in the same way.

Add Food opens one sheet no matter the source. Search FoodData Central, scan the label on the package, speak the order out loud, or just type the numbers off a menu.

Search

USDA search

Search FoodData Central, pick a food like banana, choose the serving, and EzTrofi scales calories and macros to the amount automatically.

Scan
Nutrition Facts label scanned and parsed into an editable draft

Label photo

Photograph a Nutrition Facts panel. On-device text recognition drafts the name, serving, calories, and macros for you to check before saving.

Speak
Add Food by Voice screen showing 'one chicken burrito' parsed and matched to a USDA search

Say it out loud

"Two eggs and one banana" becomes a list of matched foods you confirm one at a time — or all at once for a full plate.

Type
Manual food entry form with calories and macronutrient fields

Enter it manually

No match on hand? Type calories and macros directly, then save the combination as a template for next time.

Daily food log

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks — sorted before you even look.

Everything logged for the day lands under the right meal automatically, with running totals for calories, protein, carbs, and fat above it.

  • Browse any past date, not just today
  • Save up to 50 reusable templates and mark favorites
  • Reuse anything you logged recently in one tap

Hydration

Water gets its own log, not an afterthought.

Every entry is timestamped, quick-add buttons cover the common pours, and the day's total tracks against a goal you set — from 250 ml up to 10,000 ml.

  • Quick-add 250, 500, or 750 ml, or enter a custom amount
  • Edit or delete any entry, up to 100 a day
  • Turn hydration tracking off entirely if you don't want it

Reports

A week of eating and drinking, in one screen.

Pick 7 days, 14 days, or any custom range in between. Totals, a macronutrient split, and a hydration streak sit next to the daily bars — no spreadsheet required.

  • Calorie or carbohydrate bars, based on your nutrition focus
  • Protein, carbs, and fat as a single macro-split chart
  • Current and best hydration streaks, plus a morning/afternoon/evening water split

Interface language

The same dashboard, read the way you read.

English, U.S.-oriented Spanish, Canadian-oriented French, and Simplified Chinese are built in. Switching language also switches USDA search, label parsing, and speech recognition — not just the buttons.

How your data is kept

Your log is yours. Nobody else's account can see it.

EzTrofi is built on Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, with every record scoped to your signed-in account.

01

Per-user isolation

Food logs, water logs, templates, and settings live under your UID. Firestore rules only allow access when the signed-in account matches that path — nobody else's.

02

The USDA key never ships

Searches go through an authenticated backend function that attaches the FoodData Central key server-side. The key itself never reaches the app or your device.

03

Label scans stay on-device

Nutrition Facts photos are read with on-device text recognition. You review and correct the draft before anything is saved to your log.
